Programming:
BankPlus: CedarView did contract work for BankPlus for 23 years. Projects with them involved using the following technologies: Cognos 11 Reporting Studio, Cognos 8 BI, Power BI, Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Monarch Professional.
Worked with Pel-Freez to enhance their order and grower tracking system. The project involved using Microsoft Access 2003.
Work with Driver Resources to develop a database to help them match truck drivers with trucking companies. The solution was created using a combination of Microsoft Access, SQL Server and VB.Net
Worked with Retail Integrity to develop a database application to schedule part-time workers into open time slots. The application was written in Microsoft Access. The application has saved them numerous hours of work that was previously being done by hand.
Networking/Workstation Support:
Once Upon A Time Books: We have upgraded servers, setup virtual servers using ProxMox, installed and support Ubiquiti mesh Wi-Fi system. We support multiple locations via VPN. Running Remote Desktop sessions on local support for fast and efficient data entry.
Economic Opportunity Agency of Washington County: Upgraded server, installed and support new workstations, installed and support Ubiquiti Wi-Fi mesh system. Support workstations and printers spanning multiple floors of the office building.
Southern Brothers Construction: Support local network, workstations, TrendMicro Anti-Virus, LastPass password manager.
Modern Fence Supply: Support local network, Windows Server 2012 R2, workstations, Ubiquiti Wi-Fi mesh system, SonicWall router.
Mid-America Cabinets: In late 2008 we replaced their old servers running Microsoft NT 4.0 and SQL Server 6.0 to new upgraded hardware, Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005; at this time we also installed a network printer and changed all existing workstations to use IP network protocol instead of the old Netbios that they had been using for many years. In October of 2009 we replaced a failing workstation that is running Windows Vista; we migrated all existing software and data files from the old workstation to the new one.
Walker Foundation: In early October we migrated their workstations from Outlook Express to Outlook. Earlier in the year we helped them work through a failed power-supply on their server and upgraded the backup process on the server so that it would work properly.
