Programming:
BankPlus: CedarView has been doing contract work for BankPlus for 9 years. Our most recent projects with them involve using the following technologies: Cognos 8 BI, Microsoft Access 2003, SQL Server 2005, Monarch Professional.
Worked with Pel-Freez to enhance their order and grower tracking system. The project involved using Microsoft Access 2003.
Worked with Driver Resources to develop a database to help them match truck drivers with trucking companies. The solution was created using a combination of Microsoft Access, SQL Server and VB.Net
Worked with Retail Integrity to develop a database application to schedule part-time workers into open time slots. The application was written in Microsoft Access. The application has saved them numerous hours of work that was previously being done by hand.
Networking/Workstation Support:
Mid-America Cabinets: In late 2008 we replaced their old servers running Microsoft NT 4.0 and SQL Server 6.0 to new upgraded hardware, Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005; at this time we also installed a network printer and changed all existing workstations to use IP network protocol instead of the old Netbios that they had been using for many years. In October of 2009 we replaced a failing workstation that is running Windows Vista; we migrated all existing software and data files from the old workstation to the new one.
Walker Foundation: In early October we migrated their workstations from Outlook Express to Outlook. Earlier in the year we helped them work through a failed power-supply on their server and upgraded the backup process on the server so that it would work properly.
